Write for us
Grand Weekend Stories welcomes pitches that bring a fresh, grounded perspective to how people spend time off. We are interested in ideas that can be explained clearly and remain useful beyond a single weekend.
What we welcome
We consider pitches about shared rituals, gatherings, pastimes, keepsakes, and the seasonal character of leisure. A proposal might explain the background to a custom, compare distinct ways to spend an hour, or examine a common assumption about weekends. We look for subjects with a clear reader benefit and an angle that does not repeat what we already cover.
A strong pitch
Tell us the proposed subject, the central idea, why it suits Grand Weekend Stories, and what the finished piece would help a reader understand or decide. Mention the likely shape of the article and any sources or experience you expect to draw on. Keep the proposal focused; a complete draft is not needed at the pitch stage.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Please include your name, a way to reply, and the pitch in the message. We cannot promise publication or a particular response time, and we do not accept material that depends on invented experience or unsupported claims.
